Apple and Major League Baseball have released the September schedule for “Friday Night Baseball,” confirming two marquee matchups every Friday through the end of the regular season. The weekly doubleheader continues streaming on Apple TV for subscribers in 60 countries and regions, with no local broadcast restrictions blocking any of the games Apple Newsroom.
For the first time, the September slate includes live Apple Immersive broadcasts on Apple Vision Pro. The immersive experience debuts August 28 with the Red Sox vs. Yankees rivalry, shot in 8K with a 180-degree field of view. Vision Pro users in Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the UK, and the US can watch live through the Apple TV app with an active subscription Apple Newsroom. Replays and highlight packages will be available on demand afterward.
The September schedule features four weeks of divisional and wild-card-relevant matchups. On September 4, the Cleveland Guardians host the Detroit Tigers at Progressive Field. The following week pits the first-place Milwaukee Brewers against the Cincinnati Reds, while the San Diego Padres face the San Francisco Giants in a National League wild-card race. September 18 brings Philadelphia Phillies infielder Luis Arráez against the New York Mets, with Arráez pursuing a fourth career batting title alongside Bryce Harper. The schedule closes with the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the San Francisco Giants, where four-time MVP Shohei Ohtani can clinch a fifth consecutive division title Apple Newsroom.
Apple TV+ subscribers can watch on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV 4K, Mac, popular smart TVs, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation, and Xbox, or at tv.apple.com. US and Canada listeners will also have the option to hear home and away local radio broadcasts during each game, though radio broadcasts in Canada are available only for Toronto Blue Jays home games. The broadcast teams include Wayne Randazzo and Alex Faust on play-by-play, with analysts Dontrelle Willis and Ryan Spilborghs, and sideline reporters Heidi Watney and Tricia Whitaker Apple Newsroom.
