EA SPORTS FC 26 Joins EA Play Subscription Catalog
On June 18, 2026, EA added the full launch version of EA SPORTS FC 26 to its EA Play subscription catalog for Xbox and PC, per Xbox’s official EA Play launch announcement. Active subscribers can access the title at no extra cost via Xbox Cloud Gaming, Xbox PC Game Pass, or Game Pass Ultimate, with no separate purchase required. The addition marks the first time the 2026 entry in EA’s long-running football simulation franchise is available through the subscription service following its initial full-price retail launch earlier in June 2026.
The EA Play build includes every launch feature released for the title, which EA developed using direct community feedback from FC 25 players.
Core gameplay updates include more responsive dribbling controls, smarter AI positioning for both attacking and defensive players, and improved goalkeeper reaction times, alongside new Playstyles and Player Roles that enable deeper team customization for Ultimate Team, Clubs, and Career modes.
A new international tournament mode is powered by data for more than 20,000 individual players and 48 national teams, and ties directly into Manager Live Challenges and Player Career modes.
Player Career also adds new international ICON and Hero cards, plus a new Archetype system for player progression in Clubs and Career modes.
Two new gameplay presets are included for subscribers: Competitive, tuned for head-to-head Ultimate Team and Clubs play with faster passing and more direct control, and Authentic, built for Career mode with realistic defensive positioning, adjusted corner success rates, and lifelike goalmouth scrambles.

Limited-Time Supercharge Pack for EA Play Members
To mark the EA Play launch, EA is offering a limited-time exclusive Supercharge Pack for Football Ultimate Team to members who launch EA SPORTS FC 26 between June 18 and July 17, 2026. The 30-day reward window is in addition to standard recurring FUT Draft Tokens and seasonal Clubs rewards that EA Play members receive on a regular basis.
