Puzzledorf Brings New Puzzles to Xbox in 2026 - XBOX Wire

Puzzledorf releases on Xbox on August 31, 2026, with a two-week window of exclusive content before other platforms receive the same updates. Xbox Wire published the announcement from Stuart’s Pixel Games, confirming a demo is already available and the full game is open for pre-order and wishlist on the Xbox Store.

The centerpiece is a new Ruins puzzle set that combines classic Sokoban block-pushing with match-three mechanics. Players push colored jewels that slide until they hit an obstacle, then match three of the same color to clear them from the board. The Microsoft Store page for Puzzledorf explains that this changes the puzzle logic significantly: players must consider where a jewel stops and how each move affects the rest of the board, not just where it should go.

The Xbox launch also adds new achievements and six additional languages at launch: German, French, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Japanese, and more, with further languages planned after release. Xbox Wire noted accessibility features including colorblind mode, unlimited undo, and no timer, all designed to keep the difficulty curve approachable across skill levels.

Puzzledorf supports Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere, so one purchase covers Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC with cloud-synced saves. The Microsoft Store page for Puzzledorf lists 4K Ultra HD, 60 fps+, and keyboard-and-mouse support as standard.

The demo is live now, letting players test the core block-pushing and Ruins mechanics before the August 31 full release.
